Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Love in a Box by Joana Vasconcelos was sold in the De l'avant-garde à nos jours auction at Bonhams in Paris in June last year. The price achieved of EUR 31,875.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Joana Vasconcelos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Carmen Miranda in October 2010 with an auction result of GBP 229,250.00 (€ 264,328.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Love in a Box von Joana Vasconcelos wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion De l'avant-garde à nos jours bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 31.875,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joana Vasconcelos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Carmen Miranda im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 229.250,00 (€ 264.328,85).
