Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Poopy Pants by Joan Cornellà was sold in the Cherry PickedModern & Contemporary Art Online auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in September last year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 10,200.00 (€ 1,327.26). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Cornellà achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work CCTV (Orange) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 444,000.00 (€ 453,410.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Poopy Pants von Joan Cornellà wurde im September letzten Jahres in der Auktion Cherry PickedModern & Contemporary Art Online bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 10.200,00 (€ 1.327,26) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Cornellà erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit CCTV (Orange) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 444.000,00 (€ 453.410,87).
