Auction result well in line with expectations
In September last year Phillips in an online auction held the auction INTERSECT: Online Auction, which included the work Be Yourself by Joan Cornellà. The price achieved of HKD 50,400.00 (€ 6,558.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Cornellà achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work CCTV (Orange) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 444,000.00 (€ 453,410.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion INTERSECT: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Be Yourself von Joan Cornellà zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.400,00 (€ 6.558,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Cornellà erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit CCTV (Orange) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 444.000,00 (€ 453.410,87).
