Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Landscape from Moving Vantage Points by Jo Jong-Sung was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2015. The price achieved of HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,693.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jo Jong-Sung - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Landscape from Moving Vantage Points, which sold at auction in May 2015 for HKD 118,750.00 (€ 13,933.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Landscape from Moving Vantage Points von Jo Jong-Sung wurde im Mai 2015 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 40.000,00 (€ 4.693,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jo Jong-Sung mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Landscape from Moving Vantage Points beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für HKD 118.750,00 (€ 13.933,74) versteigert wurde.
