Auction result well in line with expectations
In July this year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Punk by Jo Brocklehurst. The price achieved of GBP 2,560.00 (€ 2,986.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Jo Brocklehurst have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March this year the work Mirror Image, 1982 was auctioned for GBP 4,080.00 (€ 4,641.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Punk von Jo Brocklehurst zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.560,00 (€ 2.986,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Jo Brocklehurst konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März diesen Jahres die Arbeit Mirror Image, 1982 für GBP 4.080,00 (€ 4.641,79) versteigert.
