Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Love by Jits Bakker. The price achieved of EUR 1,440.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jits Bakker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Love Sculpture, which sold at auction in November 2007 for EUR 5,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Love von Jits Bakker zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.440,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.200,00 – 1.600,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jits Bakker mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Love Sculpture beobachtet, die im November 2007 für EUR 5.250,00 versteigert wurde.
