A top price for Jits Bakker - as previously expected
The work Love Sculpture by Jits Bakker was sold in the The Sculpture Sale auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2007. The price achieved of EUR 5,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Love Sculpture is the most expensive artwork by Jits Bakker that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Love Sculpture von Jits Bakker wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion The Sculpture Sale bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Love Sculpture das teuerste Kunstwerk von Jits Bakker, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
