Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Czech Untitled (From The Portable Cabinet) (Stěhovací Kabinet) by Jindřich Štyrský was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2014. The price achieved of GBP 98,500.00 (€ 123,841.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jindřich Štyrský - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait De Femme (Ou Prostituée)- 1922, which sold at auction in March 2018 for EUR 269,400.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 98.500,00 (€ 123.841,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden.
