Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Czech Roots (Kořeny) by Jindřich Štyrský for GBP 146,500.00 (€ 184,190.95). This price was achieved in the auction Czech Avant-Garde Art from the Roy and Mary Cullen Collection at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 150,000.00 – 250,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Jindřich Štyrský have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March 2018 by the work Portrait De Femme (Ou Prostituée)- 1922 at EUR 269,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Czech Roots (Kořeny) von Jindřich Štyrský für GBP 146.500,00 (€ 184.190,95) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Czech Avant-Garde Art from the Roy and Mary Cullen Collection bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 150.000,00 – 250.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Jindřich Štyrský wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im März 2018 die Arbeit Portrait De Femme (Ou Prostituée)- 1922 mit EUR 269.400,00.
