Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Swallows In The Spring by Jin Zhang was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,572.39) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jin Zhang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Flowers In Two Screens, which sold at auction in October 2021 for HKD 180,000.00 (€ 20,022.51).

Die Arbeit Swallows In The Spring von Jin Zhang kam im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.572,39) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jin Zhang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Flowers In Two Screens beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für HKD 180.000,00 (€ 20.022,51) versteigert wurde.
