In March last year Bonhams in New York held the auction The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Part V The Online Sale, which included the work Prunus Blossoms, 1905 by Jin Xinlan. The »bidding war« ended at USD 5,355.00 (€ 4,827.37), 34% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jin Xinlan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape And Plum Blossoms in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 1,625,000.00 (€ 182,977.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 34 % übertroffen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Part V The Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Prunus Blossoms, 1905 von Jin Xinlan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 5.355,00 (€ 4.827,37) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jin Xinlan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape And Plum Blossoms im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.625.000,00 (€ 182.977,41).
