Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Bonhams in New York held the auction The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Part V The Online Sale, which included the work Mountain Hut, 1905 by Jin Xinlan. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,785.00 (€ 1,609.12) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jin Xinlan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape And Plum Blossoms in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 1,625,000.00 (€ 182,977.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Part V The Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mountain Hut, 1905 von Jin Xinlan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.785,00 (€ 1.609,12) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jin Xinlan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape And Plum Blossoms im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.625.000,00 (€ 182.977,41).
