In October 2015 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas, which included the work Calligraphy In Bronze Inscription by Jin Xihou. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 21,240.00 (€ 2,481.40), 42% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jin Xihou - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nine-Character Couplet In Bronze Inscription, which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 63,250.00 (€ 7,309.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 42 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2015 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy In Bronze Inscription von Jin Xihou zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 21.240,00 (€ 2.481,40) und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Jin Xihou mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nine-Character Couplet In Bronze Inscription beobachtet, die im April 2015 für HKD 63.250,00 (€ 7.309,85) versteigert wurde.
