Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lorrkon (hollow log), c.1989 height: 54.0cm (21 1/4in). by Jimmy Angunguna was sold in the Important Australian Art auction at Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne in April 2021. The price achieved of AUD 984.00 (€ 817.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Jimmy Angunguna have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wangara Spirit Figure, 2002 in November 2019 with an auction result of AUD 3,660.00 (€ 3,321.54).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 984,00 (€ 817,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden.
