In January 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Farmer Boy by Jimmy Lee Sudduth for USD 875.00 (€ 704.06). This price was achieved in the auction Beyond Imagination: Outsider and Vernacular Art Featuring the Collection of Marjorie and Harvey Freed at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house.
