The work Green Bust by Jiao Xingtao was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2017. It achieved a price of USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,505.97), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jiao Xingtao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Green Bust, which sold at auction in April 2011 for HKD 350,000.00 (€ 30,416.30).

Die Arbeit Green Bust von Jiao Xingtao kam im November 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.505,97) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Für andere Arbeiten von Jiao Xingtao mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Green Bust beobachtet, die im April 2011 für HKD 350.000,00 (€ 30.416,30) versteigert wurde.
