A top price for Jiao Xingtao
In April 2011 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work Green Bust by Jiao Xingtao. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 350,000.00 (€ 30,416.30), 46% above the upper estimate. With this result, Green Bust is even the most expensive work of art by Jiao Xingtao that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Jiao Xingtao
Im April 2011 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Green Bust von Jiao Xingtao zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 350.000,00 (€ 30.416,30) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Green Bust sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Jiao Xingtao, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
