In September 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy, which included the work Calligraphy In Seal Script by Jiang Yi. The result of USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,386.10) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Jiang Yi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2018 the work Bamboo And Bai Juyi'S Poem In Running Script was auctioned for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,087.66).

Im September 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy In Seal Script von Jiang Yi zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.386,10) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Jiang Yi konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2018 die Arbeit Bamboo And Bai Juyi'S Poem In Running Script für USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.087,66) versteigert.
