In March 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy, which included the work Bamboo And Bai Juyi'S Poem In Running Script by Jiang Yi. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,087.66) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Bamboo And Bai Juyi'S Poem In Running Script is the most expensive artwork by Jiang Yi that we have observed at auctions so far.
