Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jiang Ren achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction, the work Calligraphy Couplet In Running Script sold for HKD 81,900.00 (€ 8,768.68) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiang Ren achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Small Characters in Standard-Running Script in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 3,940,000.00 (€ 424,200.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jiang Ren erzielte im April 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Running Script für HKD 81.900,00 (€ 8.768,68) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiang Ren erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Small Characters in Standard-Running Script im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.940.000,00 (€ 424.200,71).
