Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Yungang Grottoes by Jiang Mingxian was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2019. The price achieved of HKD 70,800.00 (€ 8,092.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jiang Mingxian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wuyi Mountain in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 354,000.00 (€ 41,356.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Yungang Grottoes von Jiang Mingxian kam im Oktober 2019 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 70.800,00 (€ 8.092,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jiang Mingxian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Wuyi Mountain im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 354.000,00 (€ 41.356,64).
