Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Mounted for framing; ink and colour on paper by Jiang Mingxian for HKD 55,200.00 (€ 5,133.96). This price was achieved in the auction Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas at China Guardian in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Jiang Mingxian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wuyi Mountain in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 354,000.00 (€ 41,356.64).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Mounted for framing; ink and colour on paper von Jiang Mingxian für HKD 55.200,00 (€ 5.133,96) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jiang Mingxian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Wuyi Mountain im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 354.000,00 (€ 41.356,64).
