Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy In Cursive Script by Jian Jinglun was sold in the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2017. The price achieved of HKD 17,700.00 (€ 2,021.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jian Jinglun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy In Caoshu, which sold at auction in October 2013 for HKD 62,500.00 (€ 5,930.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Cursive Script von Jian Jinglun wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 17.700,00 (€ 2.021,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jian Jinglun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy In Caoshu beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für HKD 62.500,00 (€ 5.930,93) versteigert wurde.
