Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2015 Sothebys in Beijing held the auction Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art, which included the work Three Men With Knives by Ji Dachun. The price achieved of CNY 177,000.00 (€ 25,166.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ji Dachun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work She is Warm of Heart in April this year with an auction result of HKD 168,000.00 (€ 171,560.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Sothebys in Beijing die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Three Men With Knives von Ji Dachun zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 177.000,00 (€ 25.166,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 150.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ji Dachun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit She is Warm of Heart im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 168.000,00 (€ 171.560,87).
