Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2020 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Love Is Melancholy(Painted In 2004) by Ji Dachun. The price achieved of HKD 177,000.00 (€ 19,129.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ji Dachun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work She is Warm of Heart in April this year with an auction result of HKD 168,000.00 (€ 171,560.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August 2020 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Love Is Melancholy(Painted In 2004) von Ji Dachun zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 177.000,00 (€ 19.129,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ji Dachun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit She is Warm of Heart im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 168.000,00 (€ 171.560,87).
