In October 2004 Christies in London held the auction The Scottish Sale at The Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh, which included the work The rock pool by Jessie M. McGeehan. The price achieved of GBP 3,465.50 (€ 4,987.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The rock pool is the most expensive artwork by Jessie M. McGeehan that we have observed at auctions so far.
