Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Tracker by Jerzy Kossak was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2004. It achieved a price of GBP 597.50 (€ 536.81), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jerzy Kossak achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Napoleon outside Moscow in December 2021 with an auction result of SEK 230,000.00 (€ 22,435.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Tracker von Jerzy Kossak kam im April 2004 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 597,50 (€ 536,81) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jerzy Kossak erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Napoleon outside Moscow im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 230.000,00 (€ 22.435,06).
