It achieved a price of GBP 6,048.00 (€ 7,114.90), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jeppe Hein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 3-Dimensional Circle Illuminated in May this year with an auction result of USD 120,650.00 (€ 113,243.85).

Die Arbeit i. Mirror 1 ii. Mirror 2 iii. Mirror 3 von Jeppe Hein kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 6.048,00 (€ 7.114,90) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jeppe Hein erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 3-Dimensional Circle Illuminated im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 120.650,00 (€ 113.243,85).
