In November this year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Art + Design, which included the work "Klagende kvinde med barn" by Jens Ferdinand Willumsen. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 1,250,000.00 (€ 109,781.81), 56% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jens Ferdinand Willumsen; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A Horserider in the streets of Cordoba sold at auction in June this year with the realized price of DKK 875,000.00 (€ 117,467.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 56 % übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Art + Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Klagende kvinde med barn" von Jens Ferdinand Willumsen zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 1.250.000,00 (€ 109.781,81) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jens Ferdinand Willumsen; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit A Horserider in the streets of Cordoba im Juni diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von DKK 875.000,00 (€ 117.467,95).
