Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2014 Sothebys in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work French The Three Patiences by Jehan-Georges Vibert. Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 68,750.00 (€ 50,403.23). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jehan-Georges Vibert achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French Gulliver And The Lilliputians in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 1,497,000.00 (€ 961,587.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2014 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit French The Three Patiences von Jehan-Georges Vibert zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 68.750,00 (€ 50.403,23) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jehan-Georges Vibert erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French Gulliver And The Lilliputians im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.497.000,00 (€ 961.587,87).
