Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jeanloup Sieff achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in June 2021. In the Photographies auction, the work Derrière Blanc, Paris, 1985 sold for EUR 8,125.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jeanloup Sieff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Yves Saint Laurent, Paris, 1971 in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 39,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jeanloup Sieff erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Photographies wurde die Arbeit Derrière Blanc, Paris, 1985 für EUR 8.125,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jeanloup Sieff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Yves Saint Laurent, Paris, 1971 im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 39.400,00.
