Auction result well in line with expectations
The work À La Fênetre by Jean Volang was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in October this year. The price achieved of HKD 61,440.00 (€ 7,430.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean Volang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le modèle in December 2021 with an auction result of HKD 504,000.00 (€ 57,088.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit À La Fênetre von Jean Volang kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 61.440,00 (€ 7.430,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean Volang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le modèle im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 504.000,00 (€ 57.088,53).
