Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait Of Monsieur Aièul André De La Guerche by Jean-Louis Voille for USD 32,500.00 (€ 23,739.96). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Paintings at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Jean-Louis Voille have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Portrait Of Count Paul Alexandrovich Stroganoff, Aged 15 in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 121,250.00 (€ 151,072.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait Of Monsieur Aièul André De La Guerche von Jean-Louis Voille für USD 32.500,00 (€ 23.739,96) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master Paintings bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Louis Voille auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Portrait Of Count Paul Alexandrovich Stroganoff, Aged 15 im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 121.250,00 (€ 151.072,17).
