The work 'Semi-metal' chair, model no. 305 by Jean Prouvé was sold in the Hard-Edged: Online Auction auction at Phillips in an online auction in April 2020. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,693.06), 35% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Prouvé achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 6X6 Demountable House in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 4,375,000.00 (€ 500,056.03).

Die Arbeit 'Semi-metal' chair, model no. 305 von Jean Prouvé wurde im April 2020 in der Auktion Hard-Edged: Online Auction bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.693,06) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Prouvé erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 6X6 Demountable House im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.375.000,00 (€ 500.056,03).
