In December 2021 Bonhams in New York held the auction Modern Decorative Art + Design, which included the work Architectural Presentation Drawing by Jean Prouvé. The »bidding war« ended at USD 5,100.00 (€ 4,506.10), 70% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Prouvé achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 6X6 Demountable House in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 4,375,000.00 (€ 500,056.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 70 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Modern Decorative Art + Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Architectural Presentation Drawing von Jean Prouvé zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 5.100,00 (€ 4.506,10) und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Prouvé erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 6X6 Demountable House im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.375.000,00 (€ 500.056,03).
