Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait Of A Mother And Child by Jean Pierre Thiboust for GBP 1,750.00 (€ 1,921.38). This price was achieved in the auction The Pohl-Ströher Collection of Portrait Miniatures Part II at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Jean Pierre Thiboust have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June this year by the work Femme en bacchante jouant du tambourin at EUR 3,674.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait Of A Mother And Child von Jean Pierre Thiboust für GBP 1.750,00 (€ 1.921,38) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Pohl-Ströher Collection of Portrait Miniatures Part II bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00.
