Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans Titre by Jean Piaubert was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in July 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 500.00 – 700.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 510.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Jean Piaubert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Genese I, Le Temps Du Soir, 1987 in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 4,541.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans Titre von Jean Piaubert kam im Juli 2010 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 510,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean Piaubert auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Genese I, Le Temps Du Soir, 1987 im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.541,00.
