In June 2006 Christies in Paris held the auction Intérieurs, which included the work Marine by Jean Monneret. The auction ended at the price of EUR 60.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 40.00 – 60.00. Admittedly, works by Jean Monneret have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Marine in January 2006 with an auction result of EUR 480.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2006 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Intérieurs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Marine von Jean Monneret zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 60,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 40,00 – 60,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean Monneret auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Marine im Januar 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 480,00.
