Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Honte Lonteni - Les Etangs près du Golf by Jean Monneret was sold in the Intérieurs auction at Christies in Paris in January 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 50.00 – 100.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 60.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Jean Monneret have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Marine in January 2006 with an auction result of EUR 480.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Honte Lonteni - Les Etangs près du Golf von Jean Monneret wurde im Januar 2006 in der Auktion Intérieurs bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 50,00 – 100,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 60,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean Monneret auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Marine im Januar 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 480,00.
