Auction result well in line with expectations
In March this year Bonhams held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work Sans Titre by Jean-Michel Othoniel. The price achieved of EUR 1,402.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Michel Othoniel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans Titre (Collier Multicolore)Murano Glass And Steel Cable. Executed In 2007, This Work Is Unique. in June 2013 with an auction result of EUR 97,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Prints & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre von Jean-Michel Othoniel zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.402,50 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.200,00 – 1.600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Michel Othoniel erzielen.
