Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Daybed Lit De Repos by Jean-Michel Frank was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in June 2020. The price achieved of EUR 8,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Michel Frank achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pair Of Armchairs in November 2020 with an auction result of USD 466,200.00 (€ 390,190.83).

Die Arbeit Daybed Lit De Repos von Jean-Michel Frank kam im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 8.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Michel Frank erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pair Of Armchairs im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 466.200,00 (€ 390.190,83).
