Auction result well in line with expectations
The work French judith by Jean-Joseph Benjamin-Constant was sold in the Fine Old Master & 19th Century European Art auction at Sothebys in New York in February 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 11,250.00 (€ 9,213.00) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Joseph Benjamin-Constant achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The King Of Morocco Leaving To Receive A European Ambassador in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 375,000.00 (€ 434,973.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit French judith von Jean-Joseph Benjamin-Constant wurde im Februar 2018 in der Auktion Fine Old Master & 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert.
