Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Couple sur un bateau by Jean-Jacques Sempé was sold in the Comic Strips auction at Artcurial in Paris in February this year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 10,496.00. Admittedly, works by Jean-Jacques Sempé have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 4th of July in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 69,742.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Couple sur un bateau von Jean-Jacques Sempé wurde im Februar diesen Jahres in der Auktion Comic Strips bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 10.496,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Jacques Sempé auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 4th of July im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 69.742,00.
