Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L'Offrande À L'Amour by Jean-Frédéric Schall was sold in the En association avec Artcurial auction at Sothebys in Paris in March 2015. The price achieved of EUR 12,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean-Frédéric Schall - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Hives Of Cupids, which sold at auction in April 2016 for USD 50,000.00 (€ 43,702.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit L'Offrande À L'Amour von Jean-Frédéric Schall wurde im März 2015 in der Auktion En association avec Artcurial bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 12.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jean-Frédéric Schall mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Hives Of Cupids beobachtet, die im April 2016 für USD 50.000,00 (€ 43.702,47) versteigert wurde.
