Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2020 Christies in London held the auction Old Master Paintings & Sculpture Online, which included the work A lady at her toilette by Jean-Frédéric Schall. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,472.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean-Frédéric Schall have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Hives Of Cupids in April 2016 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 43,702.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master Paintings & Sculpture Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit A lady at her toilette von Jean-Frédéric Schall zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.472,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Frédéric Schall auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Hives Of Cupids im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 43.702,47).
