In the True Connoisseurship: The Collection of Ezra & Cecile Zilkha auction, the work Comédien Arrivant Dans Une Ville De Province changed hands for USD 10,710.00 (€ 8,963.84) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean François Raffaëlli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Place De L'Opéra, Paris in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 1,650,500.00 (€ 1,266,109.24).
