Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nymphe allongée dans la forêt by Jean-François Millet was auctioned at Christies in Paris in March this year. The price achieved of EUR 22,680.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-François Millet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Horizon (La plaine) in October 2014 with an auction result of USD 1,985,000.00 (€ 1,584,197.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nymphe allongée dans la forêt von Jean-François Millet kam im März diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 22.680,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-François Millet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Horizon (La plaine) im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.985.000,00 (€ 1.584.197,92).
