six engravings, 1757-70, on laid papers, published in Paris, all with margins, surface soiling and occasional pale foxing on several plates, Plate CLXX with stray printing ink in the upper right corner of the image, Plate CLXXII with a diagonal crease at the upper right within the image, otherwise all apparently in very good condition, in black and silvered frames, not examined out of the frames

The work Recueil élémentaire d'architecture: Six Plates by Jean Francois De Neufforge was sold in the THE HOUSE SALE auction at Christies in New York in December 2002. The price achieved of USD 2,390.00 (€ 2,279.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Recueil élémentaire d'architecture: Six Plates is the most expensive artwork by Jean Francois De Neufforge that we have observed at auctions so far.
