Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2005 Christies in London held the auction Old Master Pictures & Drawings, which included the work A stooping girl in a white dress; and Two studies of a girl carrying a pitcher (recto), and Two studies of a girl with a basket (verso) by Jean-François-Armand-Félix Bernard. The price achieved of GBP 420.00 (€ 609.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-François-Armand-Félix Bernard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work ODALISQUE WITH A SLAVE in December 2020 with an auction result of EUR 7,560.00.

Im Dezember 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master Pictures & Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A stooping girl in a white dress; and Two studies of a girl carrying a pitcher (recto), and Two studies of a girl with a basket (verso) von Jean-François-Armand-Félix Bernard zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 420,00 (€ 609,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-François-Armand-Félix Bernard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ODALISQUE WITH A SLAVE im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.560,00.
