Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2004 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art, which included the work Chasse à courre - le retour by Jean Fous. The price achieved of GBP 956.00 (€ 1,375.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean Fous - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Suite De Six Sènes De Village, which sold at auction in December 2003 for EUR 3,525.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Chasse à courre - le retour von Jean Fous zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 956,00 (€ 1.375,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jean Fous mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Suite De Six Sènes De Village beobachtet, die im Dezember 2003 für EUR 3.525,00 versteigert wurde.
